The ICF exists to build, support and preserve the integrity of the coaching profession through programs and standards supported by the individual membership.
ICF accredited coaching certification training programs meet or exceed the following requirements:
- Establish and administer minimum standards for credentialing professional coaches and coach training agencies.
- Assure the public that participating coaches and coach training agencies meet or exceed these minimum standards.
- Reinforce professional coaching as a distinct and self-regulating profession.

The network publishes a bimonthly newsletter and a quarterly journal that is sent to all members. The Network was established in 1979 and is the first fee-standing professional association that has provided professional development services for career counselors, career coaches, outplacement consultants, university career placement staff, human resource specialists, job search trainers and resume writers.
For more than 20 years, the Network has trained and certified more than 7,500 Job & Career Transition Coaches and Job & Career Development coaches in North America, South America, Africa, Europe, Australia and Asia.
Graduates of our Job & Career Transition Coach certification workshops work in scores of government organizations including the U.S. Army; U.S. Navy; U.S. Coast Guard; U.S. Marine Corps; U.S. Air Force; NASA; CIA; Secret Service; TSA; Veterans Affairs; State Department; Internal Revenue Service; Postal Service; as well as numerous colleges, universities, businesses and agencies.

The Academies is accredited by International Coach Federation as an Approved Coach-Specific Training Hours program, trains coaches in a small group, interactive learning format with regular coaching feedback around various career coaching scenarios.
Coaches are trained in the Academy’s Master F.I.T.™ model, as well as in career assessments, career branding, networking, resume writing, employment interviewing, and career “futuring” to ensure you have the skills necessary to find career significance and security amidst a changing business landscape.

Career Directors International (CDI) is committed to delivering industry innovation and unlimited potential for resume and career professionals, and places top priority on introducing new member opportunities in education, connection and empowerment.

Students complete either the Life Coach or Spiritual Coach Certification Program. All of the foundation programs are approved for 60 hours of ICF coach-specific training hours and may be applied to the Board-Certified Coach (BCC) certification.
Students receive quality training in a small group that includes extensive practice and feedback, as well as personal support from the instructor. The Life Coach Training is provided in a 3-month, 6-month or 5-day training program. The Spiritual Coach Training is provided in a 6-month or 5-day program only.
Once you have completed our program, you will become a Certified Life Coach (CLC) or Certified Spiritual Coach (CSC) and will be able to help clients make progress in all areas of their lives. Professional Association of Resume Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC), established in 1990, is the premier professional association dedicated to elevating the skills, credibility, visibility, and profitability of specialists in the fields of resume writing, career coaching, and career counseling.
